Medical Review Policy
RehabSearch applies a clinical review workflow to addiction and mental health content where inaccurate framing could materially affect a reader’s health or treatment decisions.
What Gets Reviewed
We prioritize pages about symptoms, diagnosis concepts, withdrawal, overdose risk, medication-assisted treatment, co-occurring mental health conditions, and treatment selection.
What Reviewers Check
- Clinical risk framing and safety language
- Alignment with evidence-based treatment standards
- Unsupported cure claims, guarantees, or misleading simplifications
- Whether important limitations or escalation advice are missing
What Review Does Not Mean
Medical review does not create a clinician-patient relationship and does not mean a page covers every scenario. Readers should still seek individualized care from qualified professionals.
