Based in Boyne Falls, Michigan, Bear River Health brings a sober living home to the local recovery landscape for older adults and young adults facing drug addiction, alcohol use disorder, and benzodiazepine use. The care model draws on individual counseling, experiential work, and medication-assisted treatment and is guided by an evidence-based framework, a holistic lens, and medical oversight. That combination, along with Joint Commission accreditation, experience dating back to 2012, and follow-up support through alumni events & get-togethers and alumni reunions, gives the facility a more grounded and individualized feel.
